Murder Rules

Each week, one EGM must kill another EGM in accordance with the experiment. Incentives will be made available to reward any participant who gets away with murder.

When an EGM is killed, there will be a short period where all of the participants are allowed to collect evidence. The evidence, along with conjectures and a selection of participants, will be submitted to an independent investigation agency. After a period of deliberation, the investigation will select the person that they believe is the most likely to have committed the murder. The EGM deemed responsible will be executed.

When somebody murders a CGM, no such independent investigation shall occur.

A CGM who has murdered an EGM has the option of submitting a signed written confession, in which case no independent investigation shall occur.

When an EGM murders a fellow EGM, as verified by security camera footage, and a different participant is executed due to the independent investigation agency assuming they committed a murder, then the true culprit will be granted the incentive made available that week. This participant may subsequently become a CGM, and they will immediately receive a bonus reward of their choosing.

Please keep in mind that no incentives will be granted for any murders conducted independently from the experiment.
